Our Second Silk Road road trip started in Kerman and was intense and fun! We had a total of 5 pitches that presented each of their Startup ideas. Now here’s an amazing fact: Bam, a city in Kerman Province of southeastern Iran, benefited from a strategic location on the spice route connecting the region to the Silk Road. In the end, Paziresh 24 entered our 100 days online acceleration program, Silk Road 100.

Next stop was Shiraz, a city in south-central Iran, known for its literary history and many beautiful gardens. Admire the gardens, grand residences such as Bag-E Eram and Nasir al Molk Mosque in Shiraz, where Persia’s poets are celebrated. We had 10 awesome pitches that absolutely knocked it out of the park. In the end, “Alefba” got the first place and entered our 100 days online acceleration program called Silk Road 100.

Our next stop was Mashhad, the second most populous city in Iran and the capital of Razavi Khorasan Province. We had a total of 10 pitches in which “Fanasa” managed to place the first place and entered our 100 days online acceleration program called Silk Road 100. Here’s an amazing fact: Mashhad was a major oasis along the ancient Silk Road connecting with Merv to the east.

With 10 well put together pitches, our event in Tabriz, was top notch on every level. In the capital city of East Azerbaijan Province, we came across amazing startups which really helped us get energized for our event in the next city on the road! In the end, “Honily” got the first place and entered our 100 days online acceleration program, Silk Road 100.

Our last stop was Tehran, almighty capital of Iran was an awesome experience as part of our Second Silk Road Startup journey! We had a total of 19 pitches, which happened live at our two-day event in the Amirkabir University of Technology, in the most populous city in Western Asia! During the Silk Road period, Rhagae (Ray near Tehran) was the religious capital of ancient Media.
